weblogAbout me

I am a mother of two with a passion for capturing life on video.  I decided to turn that interest into a business and thus began Your Picture Made Perfect.

I really love documenting weddings.  I feel blessed to get to have fun at work and spend the day with people who are happy and in love and celebrating with friends & family.

Filming style

I am very much a “documentary-style” videographer.  I let the day unfold and capture it as it happens.  I will never ask you to perform on film or make you or your guests uncomfortable in any way.

Editing style

I have a clean, modern editing style. You get to pick music that is meaningful to you and there are no cheesy transistions or graphics used.

I edit your DVD in a chapter style format.

From a full day wedding shoot (10 hrs +) you will most likely see chapters such as:

  • Bride &/or Groom preparation
  • Ceremony (unedited)
  • Photo Shoot
  • Reception (includes all speeches)
  • Guest Comments
  • Highlight Video
  • Blooper Reel

The videos of the Bride &/or Groom prep, Photo Shoot and Highlight Video  are “music video” style and typically 3-5 minutes long and set to music.

The Ceremony is un-edited and is as long as the actual ceremony.

The Reception video contains footage of the first dance, father daughter dance, cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss and all speeches.
